I Went to Dominguez Hills 2025.04.11

The air was boiling.

Early in the morning I had to miss my chemistry class and be dismissed to the “bike racks” area towards the western side of our school, here I was left to wait until the bus arrived, I was panicking thinking about who I was going to sit with on the bus, I don’t know most people in my class and one even had the audacity to call me scary[1][[ Whether I am or not is up for interpretation. ]], thankfully I was able to find my friend V, then I panicked again and sat all the way in the back of the bus.

You don’t know how much I had to modify this video, from going to .mp4 20mb original, .mp4 11mb censored, to finally .webm 2mb finished.

The University is called California State University, Dominguez Hills, it is a public, 4-year university, also very nice, definitely my second option, I didn’t get many pictures of the place but there are some locations that have me intrigued.

Library: A Library of 5 floors! They have actual WW2 letters inside of their archives, I believe the building belongs to another university.
Undocumented Admission Office: Here undocumented students can sign up to attend actual classes, this is wonderful and can allow them to pursue higher education.
Sleeping Pods: Why would anyone sleep in a pod and not in the comfort of their own home is beyond me, still really intriguing.

After the tour ended we got to freely roam around, we decided to just spend our time in the cool cafeteria eating street tacos, apparently they only accept card in the entire university campus so V helped me buy the food, but now that I think about it I might’ve held them back from buying what they wanted, I hope I wasn’t forcing them to spend their money on food, I did pay them back in the end.
